DINDI is born from a commitment to contemporary Brazilian design. Founded in 2020 by Ricardo Vernaglia, creative director and founder, it is a design studio that draws and produces its own optical and sun eyewear in Brazil, in its own atelier, with control over every stage of the process, from the first sketch to the final finish.
Who we are
Born in São Paulo, DINDI holds a singular place in Brazilian eyewear design, building visual narratives that speak to architecture, art, and culture. We are driven by the pursuit of aesthetic balance, and we read contemporary fashion through a sensibility of our own. Through volume, transparency, and geometry, we reveal details to those who look closely, offering a new way of seeing. More than accessories, our pieces expand expression and merge with the singularity of each face and each story.
The name [Din-dí] speaks of affection, of the comfort of a safe embrace, of the quiet, weightless memory of a gentle lullaby. That is the feeling we set out to inspire in every piece we make in our atelier.
Brazilian design, with its own voice
Drawing on Brazilian design and architecture, we combine color, creativity, and sophistication, working with transparency, collage, beveling, and intriguing forms. Brazilian design has a voice of its own. Here, we choose not to imitate. We create from what is ours, from what moves us, from what could only come from this place.

A kind of marquetry in acetate: DINDI joins colors through a range of techniques and finishes, composing new patterns by hand. Made piece by piece, it highlights the design and reveals the singularity of every model. It is a DINDI signature.
Craft and technology
Our pieces are the result of a process in which craft and technology coexist, uniting handwork and technical precision to create eyewear with formal lightness, visual character, and authenticity. All are made in Italian cellulose acetate and Italian components. Different finishes live together within a single piece, matte and polished, in natura and polished, revealing DINDI's way of making: an ode to the process of production.
A comfortable, natural fit
Our design goes beyond form. Each piece is shaped to suit different facial anatomies, with proportions studied for a comfortable fit across a wide range of features. With an impeccable finish achieved through careful hand polishing, the eyewear settles naturally on the face, a tactile experience all its own.
