Brazilian independent eyewear

Independent eyewear is eyewear made by those who design it. An independent brand creates, produces, and sells its own pieces, with no licensed name or third party design. The result tends to be more original, in smaller runs, with greater control over material and finish.

What defines an independent brand

Usually three things: original design, in house production, and no licensing. It is the opposite of the model where a single manufacturer produces frames for dozens of different labels.

DINDI as a design studio

DINDI is a Brazilian design studio, founded in 2020 by Ricardo Vernaglia. We design and produce our eyewear in Brazil, in our own atelier, with control over every stage, from the first sketch to the final finish. That autonomy is what lets us create from what is ours, without imitating.

What it means for those who wear it

Design with its own voice, creative freedom, exclusivity, care in every piece, and a direct relationship between those who create and those who wear. Eyewear conceived as both an object of use and an object of desire.
