What is the difference between acetate and injected plastic frames?
Cellulose acetate is a fine material, cut from sheet and polished, with deeper color, shine, and density. Injected plastic is molded in series, simpler in cost and in perception, without the same richness of color or the handwork of finishing.
What does an in natura finish mean?
A deliberately raw finish, left largely unpolished to preserve the marks of the making. Only the areas in contact with the skin receive special attention, and the piece completes itself with use.
